My goal for early childhood education is to create an environment which nurtures a love of learning and a feeling of safety and excitement about being in the classroom. Positive relationships with teachers and classmates and play-based, academically-rich preschool experiences build a strong foundation for a child to grow into a lifelong learner.I have been teaching since 2004 for every age from preschool to Adult English as a Second Language. The little ones are my favorite, though. Their wonder, fresh perspectives, and enthusiasm for learning make teaching such fun!

I am blessed to be mom to three wonderful young people who keep me laughing and growing. My oldest is a special education para in Louisville, CO, my middle daughter is an outdoor educator in Bailey, CO, and my youngest attends EMS. I learn as much from them as they do from me, for sure!
